Daddezio (b.1998) interweaves motifs of material linguistics,  the abject body, and phenomena within memory.

Daddezio’s work centers on drawing and assemblage. Her practice is generated through a rhythmic, reactive meditation of presence and material. Works exist in a threshold of Material Surrogacy, Memory, and the Abject Body.
Through meditations and provocations, she generates a practice that is funded by the act of distorting mediums, making them a form of trance-like, mirrored familiarity.

Works ebb in and out of relational coherence, magnetizing connection through manipulated materials, where measured experience begins to mirror both the viewer and the space surrounding them. An unteathered sonorus quality reverberates in atmospheric qualities, generating a sense of potent remembrance through observation of Self and Landscape.

Daddezio is an art educator and researcher based in Philadelphia; her work is dedicated to nurturing an open space for the experiential and participatory history of art.
